The app notifications actually saved me — I got pinged that the bowl was empty while stuck at work and refilled it from my phone before my cat started yelling. The night vision is grainy but honestly good enough to see him eating at 2am.
The night vision camera is the sleeper feature here — I checked in at 2am and could clearly see my cat nosing around the bowl. Setup took maybe ten minutes, and the 1080p picture is sharp enough to actually tell how much food is left.
The night vision actually works — I checked the app at 2am and could clearly see my cat nibbling away in the dark. Getting a notification every time she eats has been weirdly reassuring while I'm at work.
