Swapping these in takes about ten seconds and the fountain stays quiet afterward, no rattling. Water still runs clear a full two weeks in, which never happened with the old off-brand ones.
My dog drinks way more water now that it's actually clean and not that stale smell. The capsule shape clicks right into the fountain and the charcoal layer seems to do its job. Happy to have a stash of these so I'm not scrubbing the fountain every week.
